Kiosk is stuck on "Loading Menu, Please wait a few seconds"

The “Loading Menu, Please wait a few seconds” error message occurs when there is no or very unstable internet. Connecting to a stable network will solve the issue.

  1. Exit the kiosk app and check whether your kiosk is connected to a internet network. See instructions here.
  2. Check if your wifi router is ON. If it is, try restarting it.
  3. If your router is far from the kiosk, bring it closer.
  4. Check if there are any outages with your internet service provider
  5. Consider switching over to a hardwired Ethernet connection for the kiosk and Square terminal.
