Do I need to turn kiosk OFF when it's not being used?

You can leave the kiosk on outside of regular business hours/when it is not being used. The kiosk will reboot on its own at midnight to clear memory space and for maintenance.

Square suggests turning ON and OFF the terminal at least once a week. Make sure to leave the terminal power plugged in as system updates occur overnight roughly every few weeks.
