If you've successfully paired your Square Terminal with Gamsa.IO Kiosks but it's not lighting up to receive payments, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure your Square Terminal is charged to at least 35%.
- Check for software updates. If the terminal hasn’t been used in weeks or months, it may need to update before functioning properly.
To Check for Software Updates:
- Swipe Right
- Tap ≡ More > Settings > Hardware > General.
- Tap About Square Terminal or About Square Register.
- From this page, you’ll see your software version.
- Tap Check for Update to see if a software update is available.
- If a software update is available, Tap Install Now.
- Updates can take anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour to complete, depending on which updates are needed.
