Uploading Screensaver images can boost customer engagement through branding and promotions!
1. Prepare Screensaver Images:
- Upload your screensaver images (recommended format of 1080 x 1920 px) to a cloud storage service like Google Drive or email them to yourself as attachments.
2. Download Screensaver Images:
- Open an Internet Browser (i.e Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome) on your kiosk.
- Navigate to the cloud storage service or your email and download the screensaver images.
- Save the screensaver images under This PC > Pictures directory on your kiosk.
3. Access Screen Saver Settings:
- Select the Start button located at the bottom left corner of the desktop screen.
- Go to Settings
- In Settings, select "Personalization."
4. Set Screensaver:
- In Personalization settings, choose "Lock screen."
- Then, click on "Screen saver settings" located at the bottom of the window.
5. Configure Screensaver Options:
- In the Screen Saver Settings window, locate the drop-down list and select "Photos" as the screensaver type.
- Set the wait time to at least 6 minutes. Setting the wait time less than 6 minutes may cause disruptions during customer's order flow.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure "On resume, display logon screen" is NOT CHECKED.
7. Save Changes:
- Click on the "OK" button to apply the changes.
Your screensaver mode is now set up on the kiosk. The selected images will display after the specified idle time!
